Verdun Collectife Gardens/Jardins Collective de Verdun

I looked through the Verdun Messager newspaper yesterday and saw an article written in French on the Verdun Collective Gardens, developed by “l’organisme Culture Elementaire Verdun”.  Their number is 514-767-2485.  Their first garden is located in the school yard of Notre Dame de la Garde.  I live in Verdun but do not the location of the school so for those interested in having more information about them, it would be a good idea to call them first.  Their goals are similar to ours; they wish to provide healthy vegetables for the population as well as to help the environment.  Their season started in Mid-May and will last until mid-Oct.  The article was written in French but the Messager often translates articles into English the following week.  It may appear in English next week.

Hier j’ai lu un article dans le journal de Verdun “Le Messager” sur la première année des jardins collectifs de Verdun organisé par “l’organisme Culture Elémentaire Verdun” Pour plus d’information composer le numéro de télépone 514-767-2485.  Leur première jardin se trouve dans la cours d’école Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde.  Malgrès quelle fais que j’habite Verdun, je ne sais pas où cette école se trouve, alors il serait mieux de telephoner.
